This collection of five paintings captures a memory from my childhood, when I lived in my father's house. From the second floor window, I would watch the flock of ducks and geese that lived nearby, observing their not so quiet rituals day after day. Rendered in joyful, vibrant color, these paintings radiate the warmth of that memory ,the simple pleasure of a child finding wonder in the everyday.

One day, construction began on the land where the flock gathered, and I asked my father a question that now anchors this series: "Where will all the ducks and geese sunbathe now?" It was a child's question, innocent and devastating in its clarity.
