This collection of five paintings captures a memory from Tika's childhood, when she lived in her father's house. From the second floor window, she would watch the flock of ducks and geese that lived nearby, observing their quiet rituals day after day. Rendered in joyful, vibrant color, the paintings radiate the warmth of that memory, the simple pleasure of a child finding wonder in the everyday.

One day construction began on the land where the flock gathered, and the young Tika asked her father a question that now anchors this series: "Where will all the ducks and geese sunbathe now?" It is a child's question, innocent and devastating in its clarity.
